God's Faithful Followers
The purpose of God's Faithful Followers (GFF) is to provide an environment for Christian education for adults with developmental disabilities. This ministry is ecumenical and open to all. Our schedule is listed below.
GFF provides worship, fellowship, caring Christian friends, an opportunity to learn about God, crafts to make and take; and, often, a brief respite for caregivers.
God's Faithful Followers meet on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Bethel Lutheran Church's Fellowship Hall. A birthday dinner is scheduled for the last Thursday of the month to celebrate the GFF birthdays for that month. Note: During the summer months?June, July and August) GFF members meet once per month to celebrate GFF birthdays on the last Thursday of the month.
Each regular class activity is offered with sensitivity to various abilities of the student with special needs. Music and singing start the evening and include the use of motions and instruments for those who are non verbal. The class continues with a Bible lesson using visual aids to encourage group participation. Prayer time follows with opportunity for individuals to pray for family, co-workers and friends. Craft time is the highlight of the evening. Volunteers explain the project and show a sample of the finished craft. Group home workers and adult volunteers then help students complete their projects. Snack and fellowship time cap off the evening.

God’s Faithful Followers’ Schedule for 2012
God’s Faithful Followers meets weekly on Thursdays at Bethel Lutheran Church, 7171 Pearl Road in the Fellowship Hall from 7:00-8:30 PM. A monthly birthday dinner is held on the last Thursday of every month. Please reserve the dates below on your calendars:

· NOTE: There is No GFF on April 5th as it is Maundy Thursday; however, GFF friends are encouraged to come to the Maundy Thursday church service in the church at 7:00 PM.

MAY

SNOW/BAD WEATHER POLICY
When there is a concern about weather conditions and a possible cancellation of a GFF session,
(snowstorm, for example) please call the church office at (440) 843-6663 to see if the GFF program
has been canceled. If a cancellation is determined, the voicemail message will let you know. Thank you!
